Application based routing (ABR)

If Application-based-routing (ABR) is not displayed in the EC Dashboard, this service option must be ordered in advance for each location.

Configure BGP

The BGP configuration can be found under Locations > Routing.

Configure EC-M/L/XL location

You can configure Enterprise Connect M/L/XL locations in the Enterprise Connect Dashboard immediately after ordering in Order Management.

Configure MTU size

The Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) for EC-M, EC-L, and EC-XL networks defaults to 1500 bytes but can be customized per VLAN on the router. IP packets exceeding the configured MTU size may be fragmented or discarded based on the "Don't Fragment" (DF) flag bit. The Maximum Segment Size (MSS) remains fixed at 1098 bytes, independent of the MTU setting.

Configure QoS traffic remarking

- With QoS Traffic Remarking, the DSCP information of the IP data packets can be remarked in the router in the upstream direction (LAN to WAN). The original DSCP information will be overwritten.

Configure QoS VPN-Cluster

- The QoS VPN-Cluster feature is needed to configure more than 8 VPNs at the EC-M/L/XL location or if more than 32 VPNs are required in the agreement.

Configure SNMP

- SNMP stands for Simple Network Management Protocol and is used to monitor the EC-M/L/XL routers.

Configure Wake on LAN

- Wake on LAN (WoL) is an Ethernet networking standard that allows a computer to be turned on from sleep mode remotely.
