Port configuration

You can configure router port configurations under Locations > CPE.

  1. Select Access or Trunk as port type.
    • Access: You can configure exactly one VLAN as Untagged VLAN.
    • Trunk: You can configure one or no VLAN as Untagged and configure none, one or more VLANs under Allowed VLANs in the trunk.
  2. Speed/duplex of the ports are configured to Auto/Auto by default, you can adjust this here.
  3. Under Port Monitoring you can monitor the port.
    • If the connected device physically goes down, it will be detected automatically and an Incident Ticket will be created.
    • This option is not available if the location has the availability Best Effort.

Depending on the router model and options, certain ports are reserved and cannot be configured. The specific ports per router model can be seen in the dashboard and the router overview.

You can configure a LAG with two pre-defined LAN ports on the AR6280 and AR8140 access routers. Detailed information about the ports is available in the router overview

  1. Under Locations > CPE, select the ports with the group label in the dashbboard
  2. Enable the port and configure as described above.

Port configuration EC-XL

  • Two ports are reserved on both Enterprise Connect XL routers for synchronisation between the two routers. The ports depend on the router model and can be found here: Setup sync link
  • Port Monitoring will only be available, if on both CPEs the configuration is equally set and activated. (Same Port)
