Reserved ports

  • Depending on the router model and options, certain ports are reserved and cannot be configured. The specific ports per router model can be seen in the dashboard and the router overview.

Port configuration EC-XL

  • Two ports on each Enterprise Connect XL router with sync link are designated for synchronization between routers. Specific ports used for synchronization depend on the router model. Refer to the Setup sync link documentation for detailed information.
  • Port Monitoring is available only if the configuration is identically set and activated on both CPE devices, utilizing the same port.

A Link Aggregation Group (LAG) is a network configuration technique that combines multiple physical network links into a single logical link to increase bandwidth and provide redundancy. To set up a Static Link Aggregation Group (LAG) on AR6280 and AR8140 access routers using two pre-defined LAN ports, follow these steps. Detailed port information can be found in the router overview.

  1. Navigate to Locations > CPE and choose the ports marked with a group label in the dashboard or as specified in the router overview documentation.
  2. Enable the selected ports and configure the ports as described above.
  3. Set up the static LAG on your network equipment and connect to the Enterprise Connect router.
