Router / Reset / Reboot
- How to get into the ordering process: Order Management
- Reboot / Reset will be executed immediately (not via shopping cart).
- This results in a network interruption of several minutes at the appropriate location.
- Resetting a mobile access takes up to 15 minutes.
- Reboot: Reboot restarts the CPE, just like when the CPE is turned off and turned on again.
- Reset: The reset reinitializes the CPE and the customer-specific WAN and LAN configurations of the Centro Business 2.0 CPEs are rewritten.
Directly at the hardware
Reboot:
- By switching off/switching on the device Reset:
- By pressing the reset button at the top of the Centro Business CPE for about 12 seconds (until the power LED changes the state)
- (EC XS only) By running the menu point WAN Reset in the router GUI of Enterprise Connect XS.
Note for Enterprise Connect XS/S:
- Reset deletes settings such as IP addressing in the customer network (LAN), static routes, and firewall settings and resets them to factory settings.
- If you do not back up the configuration before resetting, these settings are irrevocably lost.
- The following settings are not lost due to reset:
- Router password (admin)
- Wi-Fi settings (SSID, Wi-Fi keys)
- PPPoE Credentials (username / password)
- Phone numbers for DECT
Note for Enterprise Connect S:
- Neither method will lose any configuration data
Note for Enterprise Connect M/L/XL:
- Currently it is not yet possible to remotely restart or remotely reset the CPE of Enterprise Connect M/L/XL.
