Configure SNMP

  • SNMP stands for Simple Network Management Protocol and is used to monitor the EC-M/L/XL routers.
  • SNMP is a commercial option and must be ordered separately.
  • With SNMP you can read router information, but not doing configurations (read-only access).
  • SNMP traps cannot be sent and only SNMP version 3 is supported.
  • Access lists can be configured to control SNMP queries.
  • Important: The SNMP data are raw data and must be correlated with the information in the dashboard. If you need support with this, please get in touch with your Swisscom contact person.
