Configure QoS traffic remarking
With QoS Traffic Remarking, the DSCP information of the IP data packets can be remarked in the router in the upstream direction (LAN to WAN). The original DSCP information will be overwritten.
The IP data packets are then processed in the router according to the specified QoS policy.
Configuring traffic remarking only makes sense if the QoS option has also been ordered.
Configuration
Under Settings , click QoS Traffic Remarking Profile and then click (+)
Under Label enter a name for the profile
Note : The rules now specify the IP packets that are to be remarked
Click on the default rule and, if necessary, the following parameters can be adjusted:
Description
Service > Type : Choose Any, Port Range or Internet protocol and configure the parameters
Source address > Type : Choose Any or Prefix and enter the parameters
Destination address > Type : Select Any or Prefix and enter parameters
DSCP : Enter the DSCP value as a decimal number
Traffic Remarking > Class : Choose a QoS class how the previously defined IP packets will be marked
Traffic Remarking > Remarking : Choose a marking corresponding to the selected QoS class
Confirm entries
If required, click +Rule and add more rules. Please note the order of the rules. The first rule that matches is applied.
Save entries
Under VPN , click on QoS VPN-Cluster
Click on the QoS VPN-Cluster to which you want to assign a QoS Traffic Remarking Profile
Under QoS Traffic Remarking Profile , select and confirm an existing profile
Submit configuration order
Note : Traffic remarking is now performed for the IP packets in all VPNs that are in the QoS VPN-Cluster
