Migrate to Enterprise Connect S
If you are migrating your existing port to Enterprise Connect S, please note the following
Devices / applications
-
Analogue telephone sets with frequency dialling (* and # on the keypad) can still be used.
-
All other analogue devices must be replaced by new devices.
-
For convenient use of the IP telephony features, we recommend the corresponding Enterprise Connect system phones.
-
If you operate a private branch exchange (PBX), alarm systems (e.g. TeleAlarm or fire detectors), crew alarm, a payphone, lift telephones or other special applications on your existing connection, please contact your account manager and suspend the migration.
-
ISDN devices (telephone, telefax, terminal adapter, private branch exchange, etc.) cannot operate on Enterprise Connect.
-
We recommend switching to Enterprise Connect system phones.
Phone numbers / Combox
- All existing telephone numbers will be transferred to the new Enterprise Connect connection.
- You can then independently terminate numbers you no longer need, or order new additional numbers.
- With Enterprise Connect, each phone number automatically receives one Combox pro.
- Existing Combox pro accounts will be migrated, Combox basic accounts have to be set up again as Combox pro accounts after the migration.
Call rates
- Your existing tariff options such as Option Company Call or other special discounts will be replaced by the traffic price plan for IP telephony agreed with Swisscom.
- For questions regarding your traffic terms / contract situation, please contact your Swisscom account manager.
Bluewin Internet / Bluewin DSL
- WiFi settings (e.g. access data) will not be migrated and must be set up again on the affected devices.
- Existing Bluewin e-mail addresses will not be migrated either.
- If you would like to continue using your Bluewin e-mail address, you can migrate it to an existing Swisscom mass market customer centre (Swisscom Login).
- Bluewin services such as TV, Homepage Tool, Service Package will not be migrated.
Options for Business Internet Light and Business Internet Standard
-
Your existing IP addresses will not be migrated. -However, you can order new IP addresses at any time, which will then all be available in the cloud within your Enterprise Connect network.
-
Unfortunately, the following options cannot be migrated:
- EFTPOS / Protection Net: However, a special machine-to-machine profile will be available on Enterprise Connect XS. We suggest migrating to Enterprise Connect XS.
- RAS (Remote Access Service) (Will be implemented until launch!)
-
You can order the following options in conjunction with Enterprise Connect S
- QoS (Quality of Service): Please select the CoS (Class of Service) option for your Enterprise Connect S.
- Outbound Firewall and Firewall plus: This option is available in Enterprise Connect as a central option in the cloud and you can order it via your company profile.
-
All other options will remain available, but you will need to configure the migrated connection on the new router
