Enable and configure Firewall Ruleset (Outbound Links)
- To activate the firewall and add rules, do so in the VPN you want to protect.
- A new one may have to be created first via VPN so that it can be used with Outbound Links.
Configuration

For Security go to Outbound Links and select the appropriate VPN.

Select the Firewall tab

Move the Firewall Off slider to the right

Add New Firewall Category and assign names, confirm with Good sign

Now either Save and submit shopping cart to activate the configuration. Or continue with step 6:

By selecting a firewall rule, the details can be displayed and adjusted. The defined firewall rules are used from top to bottom. That is, first firewall rule has first priority, last firewall rule has smallest priority. The firewall rules can be arranged in the dashboard. If applications are used on the local network that are blocked by the firewall rulebook, the corresponding ports must be unlocked. For example, in the WhatsApp application, the following ports must be activated to ensure their function: TCP: 4244 / 5222 / 5223 / 5228 / 5242 TCP / UDP: 50318 / 59234 UDP: 3478 / 45395
