Configure location

Information​

  • You can configure Enterprise Connect S locations in the Enterprise Connect Dashboard in Order Management immediately after ordering.

  • How to get into the ordering process: Order Management

  • So you do not have to wait until the router is physically put into operation.

  • The only exception: The WLAN on the Centro Business CPE can only be configured after the CPE has been put into operation.

  • In contrast to Enterprise Connect M/L, the router functions are virtualised in Enterprise Connect S.

  • Functions such as DHCP, IP address configuration, routing etc. are provided in the Swisscom Cloud.

  • The router (Centro Business 2.0) on location forwards VPN traffic and Internet traffic to the virtualised router in the Swisscom cloud.

  • The virtualised router in the Swisscom cloud is referred to in the Enterprise Connect Dashboard as the Cloud Gateway.

  • The Centro Business 2.0 router on location is referred to as CPE (Customer Premises Equipment).

  • Configurations such as VPNs, VLANs and router port are virtually identical to Enterprise Connect M locations.
