Change bandwidth of External Cloud Access

AWS


  • An automated bandwidth change without interruption is not supported by AWS.
  • To increase or reduce the bandwidth on your External Cloud Access, you need to completely rebuild the connection.

Change Bandwidth

  1. Remove External Cloud Access in Enterprise Connect Dashboard
  2. Change External Cloud Access Bandwidth in Order Management
  3. Reconfigure External Cloud Access (AWS) in Enterprise Connect Dashboard

Azure


  • Azure supports an automated bandwidth increase without interruption.
  • In the event of a bandwidth reduction, a complete re-establishment of the connection is required.

Bandwidth reduction

  1. Remove External Cloud Access in Enterprise Connect Dashboard
  2. Change External Cloud Access Bandwidth in Order Management
  3. Reconfigure External Cloud Access (Azure) in Enterprise Connect Dashboard

Bandwidth increase

  1. Increase bandwidth in Azure Portal (Important: This step must be carried out before step 2).
  2. Change External Cloud Access bandwidth in Order Management (see below).
  3. Perform bandwidth increase, in Enterprise Connect Dashboard (VPN > Open ECA tile).

  1. Via My Swisscom Business, go to Order Management > Administration > Inventory & subscriptions.
  2. Select the tile Company.
  3. Right-click on the Company Module and a window with various options will open.
  4. Select Company Module Change
  5. Click on the Cloud Access tab.
  6. Change the bandwidth on the affected connection.
  7. Click next and send order.
