Configure Mobile Access

  1. Connect the power supply and the 5G receiver with the supplied 3 m ETH cable.
  2. Plug the power supply into an outlet near a window.
  3. Open the window. Hold the 5G receiver with the Nokia logo facing outside and press the measurement button. Use the LEDs to find the optimal positioning.
    • LED blinks white – Software update. Please do not disconnect the device from the power supply.
    • LED blinks green – The device is starting. LED lights green – Very good connection. You can install the 5G receiver at the window here.
    • LED lights yellow – Connection is okay. You can install the 5G receiver here, but you can check if another window provides a better signal leading to a green light.
    • LED lights red – Weak connection. You need to choose another location for installation.
    • LED blinks red – No connection. You need to choose another location for installation.
  4. Position the bracket on the outside of the window. Clean the surface with the cleaning wipes before removing the protective film. Press the bracket firmly and evenly for 60 seconds.
  5. Insert the 5G receiver (with the Nokia logo facing outwards) into the bracket ("click").
  6. Run the cable under the window and secure it with the clamp on the window frame.
  7. Connect the supplied flat cable to the power supply and to port GE9 of the Huawei AR657W. If there is a switch between the router and the 5G receiver, VLAN 699 must be unlocked on the selected port.
